Optical properties of Russian-made bifocal intraocular lenses MIOL-Accord are compared with properties of their foreign analogues introduced into ophthalmological practice over the last years. Regardless of difference in diffractive microstructure design concepts, these advanced lenses can provide comparable results in clinical trials.

Key words:
intraocular lenses, artificial lens, bifocal diffractive-refractive intraocular lens, a comparison of the optical characteristics.
